I consider my work as a functional diagnostics doctor a true calling and passion. What exactly interests and inspires me about it? An electroencephalogram (EEG) is a window into a world where every electrical impulse in the brain turns into waves, revealing the secrets of how this complex organ works.
When I put a special electrode cap connected to the device on a patient, I feel both responsibility and the chance to look deep into how the brain functions. This access to information about the nervous system is not only my job but also a chance to uncover and understand the complex way the brain processes information.
Seeing the EEG unfold a picture of brain activity and reveal its reserves makes every day in this profession an exciting discovery and a chance to contribute to preserving patients' health.
